Basic Subscription provides learners with access to all FrenchPod audio podcast lessons, and includes:

Subscription Changes
You can change your subscription type at any time, by clicking the Update Subscription button on your Profile page (or just click here).
The outstanding value on your account (remaining value of current subscription calculated on a per diem basis, plus any Praxis credits on your account) will be applied to your chosen subscription.
If the remaining value is less than the price of your chosen subscription, you will be asked to pay the difference, and if the remaining value exceeds the price of your chosen subscription, the difference will be stored in your account as a 'Praxis Credit', which can be redeemed against any future purchase on this site or any other Praxis Language website.
Changes to and from a Praxis Pass work in the same way except that:
- when selecting a Praxis Pass, the outstanding value from all your accounts with Praxis Language will be applied to the new subscription
- when selecting a single site subscription to replace a Praxis Pass the full outstanding value of the Praxis Pass will be applied, and then all your other accounts will be returned to free user status

FrenchPod offers a 30-day money back guarantee with no questions asked, provided you have made no subscription changes.
Money Back Guarantee does not apply to renewals, downgrades or upgrades where pre-existing credit value from from previous subscription is applied towards a purchase.
Subscription 'change' refers to both upgrades and downgrades during the first 30-day period.
Monthly Subscription and recurring payment
If you are looking for an affordable month-to-month FrenchPod subscription solution with no long-term commitments, the Monthly Subscription is for you.
The FrenchPod Monthly Subscription gives you the opportunity to be flexible with your subscription payments. Instead of committing to a one-off lump payment, you can pay monthly and stop when it suits you.
Once you subscribe through credit card payment, or by PayPal transaction, we will automatically process your payment every month to avoid the hassle of going through the payment process every time you wish to renew. An email receipt will be sent to you on renewal.
Should you decide to cancel your subscription, simply go to the Update Subscription page and click the Cancel Recurring Billing button.
Praxis Credits
When you redeem a voucher, or if you change your account type and the new account is worth less than the old one, the value will be stored on your account as a Praxis Credit. This credit is available for any future purchase on this site or any other Praxis Language website.
MP3 Lessons (Radio Quality)
These files play at 64 kbps. They are available to the public free of charge, and may be obtained either from the website or the public RSS feed. When you subscribe to our podcast via iTunes you will receive this kind of file.
MP3 Lessons (CD Quality)
These high quality audio files play at 128 kbps (kilobytes per second). Besides having the highest quality audio, this file they also includes the dialogue transcripts as meta data, allowing you to see dialog transcripts and translations directly on your iPod screen.
Custom RSS Lesson Feed
You can configure your personalized RSS feed to contain only the kind of files that you prefer and have them delivered directly to your computer.
PDF Lesson Transcripts
This is a text file that you can download to your computer. It includes the Dialogue Transcript with translations of every phrase, and a list of the Vocabulary and Supplementary Vocabulary for the lesson with translations, too.
Lesson Review Audio
This is an audio file with a review of the lesson’s vocabulary and some phrases where you can hear the words infull sentences. It was created to address a number of issues:
- Review. Review the key vocab for each lesson - including the expansion sentences. Memory and recall strategies are built-in.
- Speaking. The format is ‘generative’, meaning you’re actively challenged to produce words, sentences, etc.
- Pronunciation. Your focus, during the gaps in the audio, can be on recall, or on pronunciation.
Lesson Review Suite
This refers to the Dialogue, Vocabulary, Expansion and Exercises tabs that you can find for every lesson. In these sections you will find interactive ways of reviewing the lesson content.
Vocab Study Tools
In addition to the Vocabulary section, where the vocab and supplementary vocab for each lesson can be found, each user also has a personalized vocabulary list. You can manage your vocabulary list by adding or removing words, grouping them with different labels ,and reviewing them with the Flashcards tool or the Concentration Game.
iPhone Access

Counseling Session
This is a follow-up from a counselor online. The counselors will answer student questions in a personalized section so the student can get the most out of the FrenchPod learning system.
Personal Study Plan
Students will receive a call from one of the FrenchPod counselors in which the student’s needs and goals will be evaluated. The counselor will then provide astudy plan that fits the student’s French learning requirements.
Daily Speaking Practice
Executive Plan studentswill receive a daily 10-minute phone callduring which they can practice French with a native speaker. The speaking practice will be linked to the content of the lessons the student has studied in order to reinforce the content and allow true mastery.
Lesson Dialogue MP3s
These audio files accompany each lesson and contain only the lesson's dialogue.
Explanations and translations are omitted to allow learners to focus on the French dialogue alone.
This Premium learning tool is great for both previewing and reviewing a lesson.
