no more new lessons? But that's the whole point about FrenchPod; that the content is always new...
I am a PraxisPassstudent, so do I get a discount now that the product has changed?

Really sad news.
There's a lot of podcasts so there's plenty to explore still. I hope at some point new podcasts get published and that something could be done to build on the podcasts that we already have here. A real treasure chest here...

Yeah,I too am disappointed. However with what must be well over 250 lessons it is going to take me a long time to work through them all and I think that at that point one would have to be in a very strong position.I'd love to hear from any Poddie who has worked through them all [or close to them all] to see what level of fluency they felt they had obtained.Personally I won't be seeking any sort of refund for a couple of reasons.Firstly because it looked very much on the cards that it would come to this.Secondly because thank goodness I still have the archive and that's not being removed. And finally because of the promise of continued help on the site and Amaury and Marion have been outstanding in their help and response to questions.I do hope that some time down the track when the global economic climate changes that consideration will be given to recommencing new lessons but I'm sure this decision was not taken lightly and that no-one is in a position to comment on that now.

We're really sorry about this news as we tried to have great content in every lesson.
We would like to thank you all for these wonderful comments. We hope we will still be able to help and give you good support : we will be here to answer your questions on the lessons or anything you have queries about in your French studies.
Regarding any question on your personal account, can you please send an email to support@praxislanguage.com or leave a comment on http://frenchpod.com/contact and our customer service will get back to you.
Obviously we have a thought for Christela, Erica, Laurie, Marion, JP and Christophe but FrenchPod is still alive and ready to help everyone make progress in their French studies.

Salut monica,

Is there a possibility that this website will restart making podcasts in future?

I'm relieved to know that you guys will still be around though :D
Who knows? Maybe things may pick up... You know the company Apple was at a dead end for quite some time, they then came out with the iPod then BOOM everything changed.
Their loyal customers stuck with since the beginning because they knew sooner or later Apple WILL make an innovation and takeover.
Trust me, you guys are the leaders in language learning. I've looked around everywhere and sure I've benefitted elseswhere but it's not the same as Frenchpod. (And, yes there's still much to do).
I'm just hoping you guys would atleast slash the subscription charges until you come out with the new content ;-)

Amaury, you're the bomb. I'll make sure I can chat with you, because I have tons of French questions to ask, because I can't ask in school. The teacher is too busy going over the basics. It's also quite sad, because in America, you don't speak the language. You always speak English.
So in America, you actually have to make an effort to learn multiple languages. You know how many? 6?
Well yes, thank you for the corrections as well. See you around!

Salut Amaury, merci beaucoup pour les leçons!
I think I've listened to almost all the intermediate lessons now. It really helps hearing the examples of the subjunctive and other grammar points in sentences, rather than just in writing and I learnt a lot of new words and phrases from the podcasts. It's also great because I can learn French on the train rather than in a classroom.
I'm studying for the DELF B1 exam, it's a shame you can't do lots more lessons, it would have been so useful! Though I'm more sad for you guys at Frenchpod of course!
Maybe things will get better in the future, I hope!!! :D
Will you be doing any more Entrepods?
Best wishes!!!!

Hey christof how are you? :)
I would just like to share somthing with anyone reading this. To my amazement I just recently realised that A LOT of podcasts weren't being shown in my iTunes feed. Just recently I was browsing through the site and I realised that quite a lot of Newbie/Elementary lessons were on the site but my iTunes hadn't pick them up.
So basically what I had to do was to subscribe to every lessen 'set' and then bookmark any other podcasts that weren't picked up. That way I managed to get all the podcasts in my iTunes. And there are so many! Much more than I anticipated.
So in case that's happening to anyone (without realsing) then you'll have to do what I did above.
There are more than enough to keep you busy till the next batch of podcasts come out :)

October 12, 2009
Salut milonga,
Quand j'écris, je me trompe beaucoup.

We're glad the intermediate lessons helped you . We're sure you can try the upper-intermediate level now : there are even more examples of the subjunctive in these lessons.
Good luck for your DELF B1 exam Sharon, let us know how it goes! And if your have any queries, don't hesitate to ask them here on the discussion board.

Zut alors!
Much like everyone else I came via chinesepod and signed up for all the other pod trials French, Italian and Spanish out of curiosity. Plus who doesn't want to know 6 languages and be an international man of mystery?
When it came time to decide on which level to get I selected the Praxis language pack over just Chinese because the production values were as good and the learning was fun. Also as a Canadian I feel that my French could be improved over the forced learning I did in school.
Ah well I guess I'll have to just enjoy the old lessons...Excusez-moi, Monsieur Brad Pitt...
