Meet the Team
I'm JP Villanueva, co-host here at FrenchPod.
I began studying French and Spanish at high school in Seattle, and went onto complete a Master's Degree in Foreign Language Pedagogy from the University of Michigan.
My enjoyment of learning and teaching languages developed fully on the foreign study programs I joined, as a student and then a teacher, in Paris, Avignon, Libourne, and Aix-en-Provence. I’ve also taught French at both high school and university level.
Having become fluent, I am so pleased to be able to share with you here at FrenchPod my experiences of learning the language, but also my insights on French culture more generally… especially the cuisine.
You'll hear me on FrenchPod with Amaury hosting lessons from the Newbie to the Upper-Intermediate levels. I also help behind the scenes with our higher level lessons, hosted by Amaury and Marion.
I hope I can help you with French studies, and that you’ll ask me any questions you may have. I love discussing all things relating to France, as do my wonderful colleagues, so we look forward to hearing from you on FrenchPod.com!
